Textological-Philological Study on Arabic Language Sciences in Minangkabau Manuscripts

This paper investigated the types of Arabic linguistics (or Ulûm al-Lughah al-Arabiya) contained in Minangkabau manuscripts and analyzed them according to context which manuscript was found. In addition, this also presented text transliteration as a form Philology work. Furthermore, research method used philology by conducting an inventory manuscripts, description, transliteration, translation finally, analyzing content relating it social community. study found one related science Arabic, namely ‘Ilm al-Nahw Minangkabau, precisely Lunang village, Pesisir Selatan.
